Lighthouse of Collier Volunteer Needs for February 2026

Secretarial Work

  • Help our receptionist when she is out of office (answer calls, send emails, follow up with clients regarding appointment times/events, greet guests, etc.)
  • Write thank you notes to donors
  • Grab coffee, water, snacks for clients/guests

Music Events/Classes

  • Help clients at Naples Community Orchestra Concerts (3 – 5:30 p.m.)
  • Volunteers must arrive by 2 p.m. at Moorings Presbyterian Church
  • They can serve as sighted guides and assist clients with transportation after the event
  • Concerts will be held February 21, March 21, and April 11
  • We need a music student who can teach our music classes when our main instructor is absent

Tuesday Talks, Support Group, etc. 

  • Help clients settle in before class
  • Make sure rooms are clean and prepared before every class

Transition Program Needs

  • Volunteers are needed Mondays from 5 – 6:30 p.m. for Transition Club
  • Beeper Baseball will be held for our younger clients at Fleischmann Park on Monday, Feb. 16, from 12 to 2 p.m.
  • Volunteers are needed to assist with monitoring kids
